Our CDT (Certified Dental Technician) Greg Burris just received his 25 year CDT Certification, specialized in Orthodontics, from the NADL (National Association of Dental Laboratories).
There are six specialties currently recognized by the National Board for Certification in Dental Laboratory Technology: Ceramics, Complete Dentures, Crown & Bridge, Orthodontics, Partial Dentures and Implants.
Greg has been with Five Star Orthodontic Laboratory and Supply since its inception. He has over 30 years of lab experience and received his CDT with an Orthodontic Specialty in 1996. Greg is dedicated to constantly continuing training and education to better serve his skills as a dental tech. He uses his vast knowledge of orthodontic appliances to educate and train all technicians in the lab on appliances and manufacturing procedures. In his free time, Greg enjoys riding his motorcycle and is an avid sports fan.
Greg’s and his wife Shelly have been married for 29 years. Shelly is the first voice you’ll hear when contacting Five Star! She has worked in many different departments at the lab. She started for 4 years in the Supply Department, then moved to the Operations Department for 13 years, and now works as our First Impression Specialist where she is the welcoming voice for all incoming phone calls and helps with new account creation and billing. Greg and Shelly are an integral part of your Five Star team!
